Sold out in 2012 and voted the 2011 Best Triathlon in the Pacific Northwest - due entirely to the energy provided by our volunteers and staff who are working to make it a safe, exciting, perfect day for hundreds of deserving athletes LIKE YOU.  Raise the Bar produces this race -  we also the off-road triathlon in the nation - XTERRA Black Diamond.  Raise the Bar events are known for spot-on course marking, armies of enthusiastic volunteers, safety, and hospitality.

Training For Lake Meridian

Knowing what to do to prepare for the race is sometimes takes more energy than the race itself!  Raise the Bar started as a training organization and that’s where our roots are.  We’ve put together 8-18-week training plans for the race that will help an athlete get to the start line prepared and ready to kill it! We also offer an evening training series at the race venue on Wednesday nights to get some group training in - especially those open water swim.
