If you are planning on racing at either of the Lake Meridian Tri's, it is time to start looking at training plans! These plans are developed by RTB coaches that have been on the Lake Meridian Tri course. The plans vary in level and weeks, with the first of them beginning April 14. Find one that will make your day GREAT!


6-week Lake Meridian Super Sprint Beginner plan (designed for someone who has never done a triathlon and is starting from the beginning). Begins May 11th for Lake Meridian #1 or July 13th for Lake Meridian #2. Super Sprint Beginner Plan Preview

10-week Lake Meridian Sprint & Olympic Beginner/Intermediate Plans. Begin April 14th for Lake Meridian #1 or June 16th for Lake Meridian #2. Beginner/Intermediate Sprint Plan Preview Beginner/Intermediate Olympic Plan Preview

18-week Lake Meridian Sprint & Olympic Improved-Performance Plans for experienced triathletes (assumes the athlete has been training regularly for the last couple of seasons). Begin April 21st for the Lake Meridian #2 triathlon and includes the option of racing Lake Meridian #1 as part of your training. 18-week Sprint Improved Performance Preview 18-week Olympic Improved Performance Preview

12-week Lake Meridian Olympic Improved-Performance Plan for experienced triathletes (assumes the athlete has already built a solid base for the season, and is ready for significant speed/tempo work). Begins June 2nd for Lake Meridian #2.

10-week Lake Meridian Sprint Improved-Performance Plan for experienced triathletes. (assumes the athlete has already built a solid base for the season, and is ready for significant speed/tempo work).
